KTR’s lawyer mentioned the lunch motion petition in the High Court on the Formula-E Car race. However, since Justice Laxman was on leave, he mentioned it in another bench. When the single bench went to Justice Shravan, the ACB Council said that this bench was not allowed to hear the quash petition. With this, KTR’s lawyers mentioned the lunch motion in the Chief Court. The High Court ordered the Registry to decide on the lunch motion. With this, the hearing on this petition is likely to be held in the High Court at 2.30 pm.
Responding to the Formula E race case, KTR said that the Formula E car race case will not stand. There is not even half a paisa of corruption in it. However, he made it clear that if the case is filed and goes ahead, he will face it legally. He said that tenders were called for the Outer Ring Road lease under the TVT system. The best bids were received for it. He said that the Rs. 7400 crores received from it were used for farmer loan waiver. He said that the tenders were called with the idea of doing good to the farmers. He questioned why the tender is not being canceled if it is a scam. “First cancel the tender. Investigate with a sitting judge or a retired judge. But how will justice be done if you investigate with the SIT that you have in your hands? Also, cancel the Kokapet land auction,” KTR demanded.
