Bihar govt not serious about drive against Maoists: BJP
The state BJP unit today fired a fresh salvo at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar accusing his government of being soft on Maoists as even his home district of Nalanda was seriously affected by extremism.
Senior BJP leader and party MLC Vinod Narayan Jha told the media here that Mr Kumar was participating in the meeting of Chief Ministers of Maoist affected states with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to complete the formality.
Mr Jha, also the state BJP spokesperson, said the problem of Naxalism in the state aggravated as the state government was not taking tough action against Maoists.
