Hyderabad, Sept. 28 (Maxim News): Billtrust, a B2B Cash Generation Platform, has inaugurated its new Global Capability Centre (GCC) at Mindspace IT Park in Madhapur, marking the formal launch of its India operations.
Telangana IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu inaugurated the facility on Monday alongside Billtrust CEO Grant Halloran and members of the company’s global leadership team.
The new 40,000-square-foot facility can accommodate up to 250 employees. Billtrust has already built a 100-member team in Hyderabad within six months and plans to expand its India workforce to 1,000 employees over the next three years.
The Hyderabad GCC is backed by a ₹450 crore investment commitment over three years. The centre will focus on engineering, artificial intelligence development and operations supporting Billtrust’s global business.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sridhar Babu highlighted Hyderabad’s technology talent and infrastructure. He said the Telangana government would continue supporting Billtrust as it expands its operations in the state.
The minister also encouraged the company to use the talent ecosystem supported by T-Hub and the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK). He said the state had a strong pool of skilled professionals in emerging technologies.
“Telangana will be a partner in your progress,” Sridhar Babu told the Billtrust leadership.
Billtrust CEO Grant Halloran said Hyderabad offered deep technical talent, strong infrastructure and a government that partners with industry. He described the centre as a long-term commitment to Telangana and to building capabilities that support the company’s global operations.
Farhad H. Baria, Country Head, India GCC, said the company had built a team of 100 professionals within six months and would continue expanding its Hyderabad operations.
Billtrust said its global platform serves 2,600 B2B suppliers and 20 million buyers, with more than $1 trillion in trade credit volume processed annually. The Hyderabad team will contribute to the company’s engineering, AI and operations functions.
The company said the new facility incorporates Telangana’s cultural heritage and Indian artistic traditions into its design.
The Hyderabad GCC adds to the city’s expanding global capability centre ecosystem. Telangana has also been seeking to strengthen its position in AI and digital infrastructure, with the state targeting 5 GW of data-centre capacity by 2029.
