The farm owner, Sivakesava Reddy, said he was shocked to find thousands of his chickens dead when he visited the farm in the morning. He quickly buried them in a pit and informed veterinary officials, but he claims they ignored his complaint.

Speaking to the media, he demanded an explanation. “I need to know why my chickens died. I believe it was bird flu, but the authorities should confirm it,” he said. He also expressed concern over his huge financial loss, as his farm, which can hold 5,500 chickens, has now lost most of its stock.

According to Reddy, the chickens started dying yesterday, so he contacted the company that supplied them. However, the company dismissed his concerns, telling him not to take any action. He buried 500 chickens yesterday, but today, the number of dead birds rose to 4,000.

Meanwhile, other poultry farmers in the village are protesting, accusing the animal husbandry department of ignoring the crisis. They are demanding immediate action to control the outbreak and prevent further losses. (Maxim News)
