BJP Announces Protest Rallies Today & Bandh On May 2
Hyderabad, April 27 (Maxim News): State BJP president Dr K. Laxman today accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao of playing with the future of several lakhs of Intermediate students in the mishandling of their examination papers. He also faulted the State government for assigning the contract to the controversial Globarena company.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, the BJP leader slammed the State government for not bothering to go into the reasons for the suicides of 23 Intermediate students, who were heartbroken with the faulty results. Laxman said they would continue to agitate till the State government dropped the Education Minister for his criminally negligent functioning and until the government order judicial inquiry by a sitting judge to go into the issue.
The State BJP chief also announced that his party would stage dharnas in all the district headquarters on April 28, organize a round table by parents and intellectuals on April 29. He also announced that they would lay a siege to the Pragathi Bhavan on April 3 and organize Statewide bandh on May 2. (Maxim News)
