BJP complaint to EC on missing votes
Hyderabad, March.2 (Maxim News): The State BJP leaders have complained to the Election Commission about missing voters in both the Hyderabad and Secunderabad Parliamentary constituencies in the last elections.
Former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, MLC Ramchander Rao have called on CEO Rajat Kumar at Secretariat here and filed a complaint on the missing voters. They said as many as 4.25 lakh voters in Secunderabad and 2.25 lakh voters in Hyderabad Parliamentary constituencies have been missing.
Talking to mediapersons, they lodged a complaint with the EC and sought correction and give voting chance to the eligible people. They also attributed the lapses in the electoral rolls due to the failure and inefficiency of low-level officials and staff. Dattatraya expressed displeasure that the State Government was denying permission to Vijaya Sankalp Divas in Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
