BJP Corporators Stage Dharna In Front Of GHMC Office
Hyderabad, Dec 24 (Maxim News): The BJP corporators staged a dharna in front of the GHMC as they were angry over the adjournment of the GHMC council meeting without a discussion on the budget.
It has been seen that the BJP Corporators along with their supporters holding placards of “Save democracy” and chanting slogans in protest against the behavior of the State government and Mayor Gadwal Vijay Lakshmi. Congress corporators have been seen protesting in front of the Mayor’s chamber.
Mayor Gadwzal Vijayalakshmi adjourned the meeting without any discussion on the budget. She said that the budget has been approved, and the standing committee has also approved it.
Earlier, the mayor expressed her anger at opposition members standing near the podium. BJP corporators alleged that not a single problem is being solved in GHMC. They even alleged that the work sanctioned to the contractors is also not being done. (Maxim News)
