BJP demands Govt to not increase TSRTC bus fares

Hyderabad, Dec.2 (Maxim News): BJP state unit today demanded the state government to withdraw the proposals to increase the fares of buses run by state owned TSRTC.

The senior leader of the party and former MLA NVSS Prabhakar , while speaking to media persons , alleged that the state government was planning to handover the assets of the corporation to the ruling TRS party leaders and added that they were opposing any such decision of the state government. He also demanded the state government to decrease VAT on petrol and diesel . He alleged that the corporation was incurring losses due to the policies of the TRS led state government and added that the decision to increase the bus fares was not the right decision to overcome the losses .

Commenting on the suicides of the farmers of the state, He said that CM KCR should take up the responsibility for the suicides of the farmers. He alleged that the state government had joined hands with the rice millers of the state to cause losses to the farmers. He claimed that he had never seen a state government like the ruling TRS led state government which behaved in an inhuman manner with the farmers.

He alleged that CM KCR was avenging the defeat of the party in the recent Huzurabad by-elections from the farmers of the state. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led central government was becoming a role model for all others by declaring the minimum support price to various crops in advance. (Maxim News)
