BJP Holds Agitation Programs Against Kodali Nani’s Comments
Amaravati, Sept.24 (Maxim News): BJP activists today held agitation programs against the comments made by state Minister Kodali Nani across the state. The Party leaders have condemned the comments made by Nani against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The agitation programs were held following a call by the State leadership of the party to hold the agitation programs at all district Collector and RDO offices of the state condemning the comments of the state minister. They demanded the chief minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy to remove Nani from his cabinet.
They also demanded Nani to tender an unconditional apology to them. The agitation program led to tense moments at some places of the state and the arrest of the party leaders. The BJP leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy took part in the agitation at Vijayawada, Bhanuprakh Reddy in Tirupathi and former minister Adinarayana Reddy in Kadapa districts of the state. The leaders had expressed their anger over the minister by claiming that he had hurt the sentiments of the Hindu society. The police have kept the BJP leaders under house arrest at Gudiwada.
