BJP Leader Slams Chandrababu For Double Standards
Hyderabad, April 24 (Maxim News): BJP senior leader S. Vishnuvardhan Reddy today reminded that in the 2014 elections Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had appreciated the Election Commission for conducting elections in fair and peaceful manner but now he was leveling unfounded allegations against the EC and also EVMs with fear of unceremonious defeat in this year’s Assembly elections.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Vishnuvardhan Reddy alleged that Chandrababu Naidu took along with him an EVM tamperer Hariprasad and flew across the country in special flights.
Vishnuvardhan Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu imitated KA Paul, who had said EVMs were tampered with by Russian hackers. Reddy also doubted that KA Paul may be advisor to Chandrababu Naidu. He also said TDP was not a national party but a regional party.
The BJP leader also alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was touring other States for election campaigning by squandering public money. He also pointed out that TDP senior leader JC Diwakar Reddy had also openly said Chandrababu Naidu indulged in money distribution in the 2014 elections. He also recalled that Chandrababu Naidu had accused the Congress party of indulging in tampering with the EVMs at that time when he was sailing with the BJP. But in 2019, Chandrababu reversed his role and attacking the BJP for nothing. His statements were best examples of Chandrababu Naidu’s dual standards and opportunistic politics. (Maxim News)
