Hyderabad, Nov.26 (Maxim News): The Osmania University police has slapped a case against BJP MP Tejaswi Surya and other BJP leaders for conducting a public meeting without obtaining permission from them.
The case was booked following a complaint by the administrative authorities of the university. The police has booked the case under section 447 section 21/76 of Hyderabad Police Act.
Tejaswi Surya visited the university along with scores of the party activists on 24 of this month. However, the police stopped the MP and other party activists at NCC gate of the university by closing its entrance gates . However, the BJP activists climbed up the gates and entered the university. He later held a public meeting without taking the permission of the university authorities and the police authorities. (Maxim News)
