BJP MP calls on governor and urges to protect fifth schedule

Hyderabad, Dec.29 (Maxim News): BJP MP from the State Soyam Bapu rao today called on the governor of the state Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan in the city and urged her to take steps for the protection of the fifth schedule of Indian constitution that grants special rights to the tribals of the state and the country.

Speaking to media persons later, he said that they had not only urged the governor to protect the fifth schedule but also told her that GO No. 317 issued by the state government was causing a lot of injustice to the tribal employees of the state . He alleged that the state government was trying to dilute the fifth schedule in Telangana and made it clear that the governor has the duty to protect the schedule. He said that the tribals of the state were facing a lot of problems after the issuance of the control GO . He claimed that the tribal employees of the state would lose their local status due to the implementation of the GO. (Maxim News)
