BJP slams KCR over Prakash Raj’s presence during Mumbai visit

Hyderabad, Feb.21 (Maxim News): The BJP today targeted Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao over the presence of actor Prakash raj during his meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Udhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Sunday.

Terming Prakash Raj as a force of destruction albeit indirectly, BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao, said he told KCR that it would be harmful for him to travel along with persons like Prakash Raj. He asked the Chief Minister as to what was the main objective behind visit decision to travel with Prakash Raj. He claimed that KCR was undertaking the tours of other States only to divert the attention of the people of the State from the anti-incumbency faced by his government.

Referring to the comments of KCR about Congress party, he warned the Chief Minister that he would be singled out if he sailed along with the Congress leaders. He mocked that all the people in the State were aware of the federal front formation plans of the CM. It may be noted here Prakash raj accompanied the Chief Minister during latter’s Mumbai visit. However, the name of Prakash Raj did not figure in the official itinerary of KCR.

Meanwhile, BJP former MLA NVSS Prabhakar expressed doubts over the Mumbai visit of Chief Minister KCR. He demanded that the CM make public the details of his discussions with his Maharashtra counterpart. He also asked the CM to make efforts to keep Telangana State on the right track. He demanded that the CM release a white paper on the issue. He claimed that the CM was demanding the Centre to increase the limit of FRBM as the financial condition of the State has gone kaput. He claimed that the CM was facing a lot of financial problems. (Maxim News)
