BJP to hold a massive public meeting at Ramagundam on Nov.12

Hyderabad, Nov.5 (NSS): The state unit of BJP has decided to hold a massive public meeting at Ramagundam on the 12th of this month. The meeting will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after dedicating the Ramagundam Fertilizers company limited to the nation. The party is planning to mobilize a huge number of people for the public meeting. It is planning to bring farmers to the meeting in large numbers. The party is targeting to mobilize one lakh people for the public meeting.

The state president of the party Bandi Sanjay Kumar held a review meeting with the leaders of the undivided Adilabad, Karimnagar, and Warangal districts for taking stock of the arrangements for the public meeting. The party leaders like MP Soyam Babu Rao, national executive members Eatala Rajender, G. Vivek, former ministers G. Vijaya Ramana Rao, Suddala Devaiah, state general secretary of the party Dugyala Pradeep Kumar, SC Morcha national secretary S. Kumar, state vice president of the party Gangidi Manohar Reddy and former MLA NVSS Prabhakar took part in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Bandi Sanjay said that one lakh people should be mobilized for the public meeting as it is being held in Ramagundam industrial area. He said that the farmers of the three districts should be in large numbers at the meeting. He said that all the party leaders should work together with complete coordination on the issue of the mobilization of the public and added that different types of decorations should be made to welcome the prime minister. He said that all the leaders should take the visit of the PM in a prestigious manner and added that they should also explain the benefits of the restoration of the Ramagundam factory at a cost of ₹6120 crores to the farmers.

He said that awareness should keep being created among the farmers that the restoration of the factory would help the farmers of Telangana, AP, and other southern states of the country. He said that the Modi government was not compromising on the interests of the farmers of the country and added that it was giving thousands of crores of subsidy on fertilizers despite their increasing cost in the international market.

Commenting on the recent Munugodu by-elections, Sanjay alleged that the ruling party misused its powers in the by-elections and claimed that it spent ₹1000 crores. He alleged that the chief electoral officer and Rachakonda police commissioner had become the puppets of the ruling party. He alleged that the police commissioner, who is in the post for the last seven years, worked like a TRS party activist and added that the police had not only threatened the BJP leaders and workers but also booked criminal cases against them. He said that the BJP was going to win in the by-elections despite the harassment by the police. (NSS)
