Hyderabad, March 2 (Maxim News): Prof. E. Suresh Kumar, Vice Chancellor, The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, has inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at the University today.
Over seventy students donated blood in the camp which was conducted today evening. The camp was organized at the Health Centre by NSS with the active participation of student volunteers.
The Vice Chancellor interacted with the donors and told them that their noble act will help the patients suffering from Thalassemia, Cancer and other ailments. He said their act is meaningful and purposeful when seen from the larger perspective of humanity.
The NSS Programme Coordinator and Programme Officer along with Medical Officer of the University Health Centre and the staff organized the event. (Maxim News)
