Addressing a state-level workshop held at the party headquarters, Telangana BJP state unit president N Ramchander Rao directed workers to focus sharply on booth preparedness. He said every booth must actively engage with the public. He also stressed that booth-level strength would decide the party’s performance in the coming elections. Therefore, organisational discipline and regular outreach must remain a priority.

Meanwhile, Rao asked party workers to clearly communicate the development and welfare programmes implemented by the Central Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that these initiatives would form the base for electoral success. He also urged cadres to understand their voter base at each booth. According to him, workers must identify areas where the party received fewer votes in earlier elections and then work to turn those weak points into strengths.

Later, Rao highlighted the importance of adopting the Panna Pramukh system, which was earlier implemented in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. Under this system, one dedicated worker is assigned responsibility for every 50 voters. Emphasising the central role of booth leadership, he said, “The booth president is the pillar of the party. Only when the foundation is strong can the party grow formidably.” He also added that booth construction is not a one-day task but a continuous responsibility.

Rao further directed that similar workshops should be conducted at district and mandal levels. This, he said, would help strengthen the party’s grassroots structure across Telangana. Referring to the BJP’s recent performance, he pointed out that the party won eight Parliament seats in the state. He asserted that with Prime Minister Modi’s popularity and a strong booth-level organisation, the BJP has the potential to win up to 16 seats.
