Bowenpally Police Nab Drug Peddlers, Seized 1.7 Grams Of Hash Oil
Hyderabad, Aug 13 (Maxim News): The Task Force (East) team, along with Bowenpally police have nabbed two drug peddlers at krishna Nagar in old Bowenpally on charges of drug peddling and seized 1.7 grams of hash oil and a mobile phone, altogether worth Rs. 8.95 lakh on Wednesday.
The arrested persons were identified as Sahoo Sonu (31) a fruit vendor from Old Bowenpally and B.Ravi Teja (20), an e-commerce delivery agent from LB Nagar.
Police said the duo has prior drug-related cases booked against them. An absconding suspect, Giri, allegedly procured the contraband from his associate Rajesh in Andhra Pradesh.
Police said Sonu and Ravi Teja, who are addicted to narcotics, bought hash oil in bulk to resell in smaller quantities to other consumers in Hyderabad for profit.
They were caught while waiting to sell the drug to consumers. The duo, along with seized material, were handed over to the Bowenpally police for further investigation. (Maxim News)
