BRS And BJP Is Creating Political Chaos In Telangana: Deputy CM Bhatti
Mancherial: The leaders who created financial destruction in the State and the BRS and BJP parties who did not like dalits, BCs and tribals benefiting from the welfare schemes, BC caste census and SC categorisation taken up by the Congress government were now creating political chaos in the State, charged Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu.
Speaking at the Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan public meeting organised at Mancherial by the local MLA Prem Sagar on Monday , Mr Bhatti Vikramarka lashed out that these parties were spewing venom on the State.
Lambasting the opposition parties, the Deputy CM alleged that unable to stop the BC caste census , SC categorisation and other major programmes taken up by Revanth Reddy led government , both BRS and BJP leaders were resorting to political conspiracies.
When the then CM PV Narasimha Rao had initiated land reforms in a big way in the united Andhra Pradesh , some leaders brought Jai Andhra movement to disrupt land reforms programme. Similarly now BRS and BJP leaders were resorting to disruptive politics in the State.
Social change is Congress Party’s principle and to facilitate this Congress party decided to identify the population of different categories in the State through caste census and to extend welfare benefits to them in the same proportion. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the entire Cabinet are going ahead with the same principle.
Bhatti Vikramarka asserted that however much they tried, BRS and BJP would not be able to stall this programme.

He reminded that the Congress government did not merely stop at conducting caste census for social change but passed a resolution in the Assembly and the CM Revanth Reddy and ministers staged a dharna in Delhi demanding implementation of caste census across the country.
Mr Bhatti Vikramarka said that Rahul Gandhi recently passed a resolution in Gujarat that the national wealth was imprisoned in the hands of ten crony capitalists and it should be freed and distributed to people of the country.
Rahul Gandhi is a visionary and he through his Bharat Jodo Yatra brought to the notice of people that crony capitalists like Adani and Ambani were looting nation’s wealth.
Entire State Cabinet was committed to the vision and directive of Rahul Gandhi on wealth creation and working for it, he said.
The Deputy CM further said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar Pranahita Chevella project will be inaugurated and irrigation facility will be extended.
He recalled that ahead of general elections he addressed a public meeting in Mancherial on April 14 and that meeting was attended by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and he had predicted that the Congress Party would sweep elections in the State. He as CLP leader and Revanth Reddy as PCC president would never forget the welcoming support extended by people when they had toured in Adilabad district then.
Mr Bhatti also recounted various innovative and prestigious programmes like Young India Integrated Schools and release of Rs 11,600 crore for construction of these schools, each at a cost of Rs 200 crore in an extent of 25 acres.
Under the Indira Giri Jala Vikas scheme, irrigation facility was being extended to tribals’ lands through supply of solar power backed pumpsets, drips and sprinklers for cultivation of avocado and bamboo etc.
The Congress government with the intent of making one crore women crorepathis, is extending One lakh crore interest free loans to Self Help Group members over five years . In the first year it exceeded the target and sanctioned Rs 21,000 crore interest free loans, Mr Bhatti said.
He recounted several programnes launched by the State government to encourage women entrepreneurs. Special industrial parks were being set up for women.
For youth who fought for Telangana State to secure jobs, Congress government already filled 56,000 vacant posts and for other unemployed youth who could not get jobs, Rajiv Yuva Vikas self employment scheme was started with Rs 9,000 crore. Sanction letters under the scheme will be issued to unemployed youth on June 2, State formation day, he announced.
He also said government implemented loan waiver up to Rs 2 lakhs for farmers by crediting Rs 21,000 crore in a span of three months.
The government started distribution of fine rice to 3.1 crore poor from Ugadi by spending Rs 13,525 crore per year.
Free power upto 200 units under Gruha Jyothy benefited 59 lakh families so far, he said and govt paid Rs 1,775 crore subsidy amount to Discoms on behalf of beneficiaries.
He said on Monday alone, development works worth Rs 1,000 crore were inaugurated. This is only beginning for development of Manchiryal, he emphasised.
