- KCR left Assembly after condolence resolutions
- Revanth Reddy greets KCR before brief Assembly exit
Former Chief Minister and BRS leader KCR left the Telangana Assembly within five minutes of the session beginning on Monday. He exited soon after the House passed condolence resolutions. The brief visit drew attention as the Assembly sessions formally began shortly after his departure.
KCR reached the Assembly earlier in the morning from his residence in Nandinagar. On his arrival, BRS MLAs welcomed him. They then escorted him into the Assembly hall. KCR went and sat in his chair before all other members took their seats. However, his presence in the House lasted only a short while.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy entered the Assembly hall and walked up to KCR. He shook hands with the former Chief Minister. After the Chief Minister, several ministers and MLAs also greeted KCR. The exchanges took place before the House proceedings moved ahead.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally inquired about KCR’s health. When the Chief Minister greeted him, KCR replied that he was fine. Following this, ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, Seethakka, Vakiti Srihari, Adluri Laxman Kumar, government whips Beerla Ilayya and Adi Srinivas, along with several Congress MLAs, met KCR. CPI MLA Kunamaneni Sambasiva Rao also shook hands with him.
However, KCR remained in the Assembly only briefly after these interactions. As the session proceeded, he walked out of the House along with former minister Harish Rao. Soon after, the former Chief Minister left the Assembly premises.
Later, KCR returned to his residence in Nandinagar. The Telangana Assembly sessions continued after his exit. His short stay and early departure became a key point of discussion as the proceedings moved forward.
The developments unfolded amid the start of the Assembly sessions. Officials did not issue any separate statement regarding KCR’s early exit. The focus remained on the formal conduct of the House after the condolence resolutions were completed.
