BRS Completely Weakened: Fight Against BJP: KC Venugopal Advised To State Congress Leader

Hyderabad, April 15 (Maxim News): AICC general secretary KC Venugopal has advised the state leaders of the Congress, not a give a chance here to the BJP saying that BJP focuses on South India to achieve their target of 400 par.  He said winning most of the seats in Telangana in the Lok Sabha elections is very important to the party and should work to win 15 seats.

He reviewed the election strategy with the in-charges and candidates of the Lok Sabha seats at the Shamshabad Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad on Sunday night.  PCC President and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Ministers Konda Surekha, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Seethakka, Ponnam Prabhakar, Jupalli Krishna Rao, MLAs and candidates of 14 Lok Sabha constituencies participated.  

Venugopal directed the leaders on behalf of the leadership on the strategy and campaign to be followed in the elections.  He made it clear that since the party won the Telangana Assembly elections, he should not that he will win now, but should work hard.  He said that BRS has become completely weakened. He urged not to focus too much on the BRS party and to fight against the BJP itself. He questioned why some leaders at the field level are preventing many leaders from the BJP and the BRS from joining the Congress.  He said that if BRS leaders and workers are prevented from joining the party due to local reasons, they will join the BJP.  He made it clear that the strength of the party will increase and that should not happen.

It is reported that KC Venugopal said that the BJP is trying hard to regain its strength in six constituencies due to the weakness of BRS.  Ministers want to pay special attention to the inclusion of people from other parties in the district.  Those who left the party momentarily during the Assembly elections were suggested to be rejoined in the Congress.  He said that if any of the people have any doubts about the governance of the state government, they should be cleared by the ministers.

He suggested that some candidates were lagging in the campaign and all of them should actively go to the public from now on.  Earlier, Venugopal asked the in-charges of all the constituencies and the opinions of the candidates.  He asked how the campaign was going on at the field level.  All the ministers have given their views.  He made it clear that the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers in charge of Constituencies, and candidates should remain in the constituencies from Monday and should not be seen in Hyderabad.  The Chief leaders should go to all the constituencies and campaign.  It is suggested to take the guarantee promises and manifesto announced by the party at the National Level to the public.  It is known that some of the leaders are not doing well and have been gently wanting to change.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that if all the state leaders work hard, they will win 15 seats.  He said that the details of guarantees and other schemes implemented by the state government for the last four months should be taken to the public.  He said that campaigning should be carried out at the mandal level and the polling booth level.  

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikaramarka said that everyone should work hard for the success of the party.  He said that a large-scale campaign will be started from Monday.  Venugopal, who had earlier arrived at the hotel from the airport, was welcomed by Revanth Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, and Deepa Dasmunshi.  it seems that Venugopal discussed the 3 constituencies where the candidates are to be announced with the CM and leaders (Maxim News)
