BRS Formation Ceremony at Telangna Bhavan On Dec 9

BRS | Hyderabad, Dec 8 (Maxim News): TRS/BRS Supremo and Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao who received the official letter from the Election Commission of India, approving to change the name of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) as “Bharat Rashtra Samithi” (BRS).

In this connection, KCR invited all the Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Zilla Parishad Chairman, various Corporation chairman, DCCB president, DCMS Presidents and party chiefs should reach the Tealgnana Bhavan on December 9 before noon.

KCR decided to organize the formation programme of “Bharat Rashtra Samithi ” at the auspicious time of 1.20 pm tomorrow and commence the official programmes relating to it, The Chief Minister will sign on the official letter received in reply and send it to the Election Commission.

Later, KCR will hoist the BRS flag, and there will be an inaugural ceremony.

It is mention here that On October 5, 2022, the TRS adopted a resolution to change the name of the party from TRS to BRS. To that effect, necessary amendments to the party Constitution have also been made in the same meeting. The resolution and the amended party constitution were submitted to the ECI on October 6.

K Chandrasekhar Rao has already been saying he intends to take on PM Narendra Modi in the 2024 general elections and has been inviting other non-BJP parties to join hands with him.

He has been involved in a war of words with the BJP, which is pushing aggressively to gain ground in the southern state. He has also skipped a few functions of PM Narendra Modi in Hyderabad.

The national party launch comes 21 years after TRS was floated to demand a separate Telangana from Andhra Pradesh. (Maxim News)
