BRS Leaders’ Attitude on HYDRA Issue is Ironically Troubling: Prof. Kodanda Ram

BRS Leaders | Hyderabad, Aug 23 (Maxim News): MLC Prof Kodandaram said that some people (Obviously referring to BRS leaders) are provoking the farmers and doing dharnas.

BRS Chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has asked him to contest for the Lok Sabha. He said that he had rejected the offer, he told KCR that he would cooperate with the government in the interest of the state, but he ignored it.

Speaking to press persons in his office today, He said that the financial situation of the state is not good and criticised that the BRS government has left the “chippa” empty pot in the hands of the new government.

He said that farmer loan waiver has been done to the majority of the farmers. Due to some technical difficulties, loan waiver has not been done to some. He said that BRS leaders do not have an answer as to why the previous BRS government gave permission for construction that was against the rules. He said it was strange that the BRS leaders were asking for an exemption in the case of HYDRA.. He criticised the previous BRS government for destroying the ponds. He said that the KCR government did not recognize the movement.

He said that he has seen MLC as a recognition given to the activists. Rajiv Gandhi was not a party person. He clarified that there is no need to cross swords in the case of Rajiv’s statue. Why didn’t the KCR government put a statue of Telangana Talli? he asked. He said that those who come out as Telangana intellectuals and activists should be impartial.

He said that the government has decided to install the statue of Telangana Talli. he said that it is a good decision to waive the loan simultaneously without delay.

He said that there would be no objections if there was a loan waiver for corporate companies. Do you mind if farmers get a loan waiver? He said.

He said that loans given to farmers in Telangana itself are less. Kodandaram revealed that he did not want security as he would be away from the people. (Maxim News)
