BRS MLA Harish Rao Has Criticized The Budget Speech As A Political Statement

Hyderabad, July 27 (Maxim News):: Speaking during the budget debate in the Legislative Assembly, Harish Rao highlighted the impressive growth in GSDP, which increased from Rs. 4.5 lakh crores to Rs. 14 lakh crores under the current administration. He challenged critics to provide evidence if they claim the governance is inadequate.

“The ten-year record of our rule has been deleted, and the state budget is full of inaccuracies. They claim tax revenue will increase, but instead of formulating policies, they focus on criticizing us. The budget projects Rs. 35 thousand crores in non-tax revenue. Previously, Bhatti Vikramarka and Sridhar Babu criticized land sales for loan waivers. Now, they plan to sell land worth Rs. 10 thousand crores to raise funds. If their word is to be respected, this proposal should be withdrawn.

The income projections are unrealistically high, mandatory expenses are minimized, and simultaneous loan waivers are promised. Only Rs. 26 thousand crores are realistically expected in the budget. Farmers are being charged interest for delays. Harish Rao criticized the government for delaying and placing the interest burden on farmers.” (Maxim News)
