BRS MLA Mahipal Reddy Appeared Before ED In Illegal Activities Of Mining Case 

Hyderabad, July 2 (Maxim News): BRS MLA Mahipal Reddy appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday. ED has registered a case against the MLA for illegal activities in mining. Also, ED officers conducted searches in the houses of Mahipal Reddy’s brother Madhusudan Reddy.

Officials also conducted inspections at Mahipal’s house for two days.  It is alleged that they have done it in such a way that they have caused a loss to the TS government of upto Rs. 300 crores  

A week ago, the ED conducted searches at the house of MLa Mahipal Reddy along with his brother.  Allegations of evading taxes to the government in mining have been made.  Mahipal Reddy is running a business named Santosh Sand and Granite.  he has been accused of evading taxes to the tune of Rs. 39 crores.

It seems that all the profits from mining have been carried on through real estate and businesses under Benjamin’s name.  It is reported that the Mahipal brothers have conducted mining in the surrounding areas of Sangareddy Patancheru.  (Maxim News)
