BRS MLA Rohit Reddy Skips ED Investigation, Met KCR

Hyderabad, Dec 27 (maxim News):  After getting the big shock from the High Court of Telangana that the case of MLAs purchase in Moinabad Farm House has been transferred to CBI for investigation directing the SIT to handover all the relevant documents pertaining to the investing to CBI, the BRS MLA from Tandur Pilot Rohit Reddy who is said to be the main complainant has skipped the Enforcement Directorate  (ED) investigation which was supposed to be held at 11.00 am today.

However, Pilot Rohit Reddy has met Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao at his residence-cum-camp office (Pragathi Bhavan) and it is said that both have discussed the issue of attending the trial of ED.  The ED officials who have inquired about the Moinab ad FarmHouse case twice have advised Pilot Rohit Reddy to appear again on December 27.

Pilot Rohit Reddy gave an explanation for his absence from the ED investigation,  It is stated that a writ petition has been filed in the High Court challenging the ED investigation.  He said that his petition will be heard on Wednesday.  He said that investigation in a case unrelated to ED is not proper.  He asked what the ED has to do with the main MLA purchase case.  He alleged that ED is harassing him in the name of the CBI investigation to trouble him.  He said that he will proceed with the advice of legal experts.

Meanwhile, the investigation of the Central investigation agency Enforcement directorate is continuing in the MLA purchase case.  The ED has already interrogated MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy twice.  With the information collected from Nanda Kumar, Pilot Rohit Reddy was asked to appear at 11 am today.  But Rohit Reddy decided not to appear before the ED.  On the other hand, whether the ED will give permission to Rohit Reddy’s mail or not has become suspense.  It seems that the ED is preparing for further action in the absence of the MLA.  (Maxim News)
