BRS MLC Pochampally Appears Before Police In Cockfighting Case

Hyderabad, Mar 14 (Maxim News): BRS leader and MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy has appeared for police questioning in the cockfighting case. He arrived at Moinabad police station on Friday (March 14). The police will question MLC Srinivas Reddy about the cockfighting and casino affairs of the farmhouse.

Meanwhile, on February 11, 2025, the SOT police received information that a large-scale cockfighting was being conducted in the agricultural land under the limits of Tolukaztta village in Moinabad mandal of Rangareddy district. To this end, Rajendranagar DCP Srinivas, Chevella ACP I. Kishan, and Moinabad CI Pawan Kumareddy, along with 50 staff members, raided the cockfighting camp. A total of 64 people were arrested after rounding up the organizer. Sivakumar, and the cockfighting officials from AP.

84 racing chickens, Rs. 30 lakh cash, and 50 cars were seized, and 64 people were shifted to Moinabad PS.  However, the police found that the farmhouse where the racing was conducted was leased and have included MLC Srinivas Reddy as an accused in this case. A case has been registered against him under Sections 3 & 4 of the Gaming Act and Section 11 of the Animal Act.

The police issued notices on February 13, 2025, for the investigation in this case and ordered him to appear for the investigation. With this, MLC Srinivas Reddy sent a reply to the police notices through his lawyer. Recently, the police issued a summons to MLC Srinivas Reddy once again in the same case. He was ordered to appear for the investigation in person on March 14. In this order, he went to Moinabad PS.  (Maxim News)
