BRS MPs Boycotted President’s Speech

Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 31 (Maxim News): On the instructions of the BRS President and Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao the BRS MPs along with the AAP MPs have boycotted the President Droupadi Murmu addressed to the members of both houses of Parliament in the Central Hall.

It may be recalled that KCR directed his party MPs in the Parliamentary party meeting held on Sunday in Hyderabad to stop the anti-people policies being followed by the Central government in the parliament and to follow a collective strategy with the parties that come together.

It may also be recalled that the BRS Parliamentary Party leader K. Keshav Rao and Lok Sabha Party leader Nama Nageswar Rao attended the meeting led by Union Parliamentary Affairs MinisterPrahlad Joshi yesterday, they alleged that they have a problem with the Governor system in the state of Telangana, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and other states, They demanded that there should be a debate in the Parliament on the federal system of the country. BRS MPs, have made it clear that they will oppose the Center on Public issues. He demanded that there should be a debate in the Parliament on the behavior of Governors in various states across the country.

However, the 16 members of the BRS and 10 members of the AAP have boycotted the President while all the opposition party members including the Senior AICC leader Sonia Gandhi attended the President’s speech. (Maxim News)
