BRS To Donate One Month Salary To Flood Victim’s Relief

Hyderabad, Sept 4 (Maxim News) BRS Party headed by the former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has come forward to help the flood victims who have become homeless due to heavy rains and floods in the state.

BRS key leader and former minister Harish Rao announced that one month’s salary of BRS MLAs, MPs, and MLCs is being donated to flood victims. Harish Rao said that the donation has been announced as per the decision of the BRS chief. He said that they have extended their support to the people who have lost everything and are suffering due to the floods in Telangana state. He said that the BRS party has already taken relief measures. Siddipet BRS councilors also announced that they are giving one month’s salary to Khammam flood victims.

Life Disrupted Due To Continues Rains

It is known that Telangana has been flooded by heavy rains and floods for the last four days. Life in the state has been disrupted due to incessant rain. Projects in the state, rivers, ponds, canals, and channels overflowed and the roads became waterlogged. The transport system was paralyzed everywhere.

Tens of deaths have taken place due to floods.  Thousands have been rendered homeless. Houses, driveways, and clothes were lost and they fell on the road. Many film and political celebrities are coming forward to support the flood victims. In this context, BRS party MPs, MLAs, and MLCs have donated their monthly salary to the CM Relief Fund to help the flood victims (Maxim News)
