Budget Took State 20 Years Backwards: Mallu Ravi
Hyderabad, Sept.10 (Maxim News): TPCC Vice President Mallu Ravi on Tuesday said the budget presented by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has taken the State by 20 years backwards. He also alleged that gross injustice was done to the BC, SC and Minority communities in the budget.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, Mallu Ravi termed the budget as a budget with huge cuts. He said nominal allocations were made to farm loan waiver and Rythu Bandhu scheme in the budget. He said the CM would go down in the history as the CM who has cut the allocations for weaker sections.
He alleged that CM KCR was trying to escape from his responsibility by blaming the Centre on the issue. He wondered if the CM was not aware of economic slowdown when he promised Rs 10 lakh to each and every family of his Chintamadaka village. Noting that the Congress had created the State as revenue surplus, the KCR government has turned it into a debt-ridden State due to financial mismanagement of resources. (Maxim News)
