CM to present it in assembly at 11.30 am
Hyderabad, Feb.21 (Maxim News): Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today approved the budget proposals for 2019-20 financial year. The cabinet met at Pragathi Bhavan here along with Home Minister Mahamood Ali and all other 10 ministers who were newly inducted into it by the chief minister. KCR is to present the budget in Assembly at 11.30 am while Mahamood Ali as a senior minister is to present it in the council on Feb 22.
The Cabinet also approved financial demands, related grants and GST amendment bill for 2018-19. The budget this time could be put beyond a whopping Rs 2 lakh crores as the state is getting more revenues and non tax income to its chequer. The chief minister is to present the vote on account budget for 2019-20. The officials have prepared big proposals in comprehensive manner and excluded small accounts and incorporated the promises made by KCR during the polls. As directed by the CM the officials have prepared the budget with proposals of financial allocations and proposals to various departments.(Maxim News)
