Candidates Can File The Nomination Online Also: Vikas Raj

Hyderabad, Nov 1 (Maxim News):  Chief Electoral Officer, Vikas Raj said that the candidates who are contesting the forthcoming Telangana Assembly elections can file the nominations online.  The Notification of the Election will be issued on November 3.

For the Nomination which has been filed online, the same documents should be given directly to the concerned election officer.  In all constituencies, the standard time is the wall clock installed in the Election Officer’s room.  We will stop accepting nominations after 3 p.m.  This process will be recorded through CCTV.  Each candidate can make up to four nominations.  Candidates should be careful about affidavits.  The affidavits given by the candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the Central and State Election commissions on the same day.  We will also put it on the notice board in the Constituency election Officer’s office.

Vikas Raj informed us that all arrangements are underway for the Telangana Assembly elections.  He said that even after the announcement of the final voter list, a large number of applications were received.  with that, in addition to the 35,356 polling centers that have already been confirmed, proposals are coming for the establishment of more subsidiary centers. We will take a decision on this this week.  We will allow the right to vote by November 10 to all those who have applied.  At the time of polling, the list of voters will be taken as standard.

The Chief Electoral Officer said that it has been decided to print all postal and sample ballot papers in Hyderabad.  In the past, there were problems with the signs.  We are taking measures to prevent such a situation from recurring.  marks are made available for independent candidates and candidates of unregistered parties.

The Central Election Commission has appointed 60 observers to monitor the expenses of the candidates.  they will reach the state on Friday.  General and police inspectors are to be finalized.  65,000 policemen from the uniform services of the state to supervise the security affairs.  The Election Commission sent 300 companies of central forces in the 2018 elections, so far 100 companies of forces have reached the state for the current elections.
