Cases Against 17 Hospitals In The CMRF Scam: CM Orders CID Investigation

Hyderabad, AUG 26 (Maxim News): CID has registered cases against 17 hospitals in the CMRF Scam.  Cases have been registered against hospitals in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, and Mahbubabad.

The investigation revealed that these hospitals made fake bills and claims. In the verification, the quality of the hospitals was exposed. It is known that four people were arrested by the CPS police in the same scam earlier. 6 lakh fake bills were claimed by the hospital administrators from two hospitals. Cases of forgery and cheating have been registered against them.

CMRF Scam A Sensation In Telangana

The CMRF scandal is creating a sensation in the state. The CID has identified several hospitals that have drawn CMRF funds with fake bills without providing treatment to the patients. This scam came to light last year with a complaint filed by the revenue department that they were drawing CMRF funds with false certification documents, without patients and medical treatment.

It seems that hospital staff, local leaders, and officials are involved in this scam. As the scandal that happened during the previous government came to light.

CM Revanth Reddy ordered a CID investigation. CID has registered cases against a total of 17 hospitals. (Maxim News)
