Cash-for-MLA scam accused Nanda Kumar has links with TRS leaders: BJP
Hyderabad, Oct.27 (NSS): BJP MP Dr K. Laxman today alleged that the “cash for MLA” scam accused Nanda Kumar has links with the ruling TRS party leaders. He made it clear that Nanda Kumar has no relationships with the BJP. He demanded that the State government order a CBI or a judicial inquiry in the issue.
Commenting on the TRS MLAs’ involvement in the issue, Laxman said out of the four MLAs, three had come from the other political parties. He alleged that the TRS party had come up with the scam in order to divert the attention of the people of the State from Munugodu by-election. He claimed that the BJP was a party with moral values and added that their political rivals were trying to throw mud on it in order to malign its image.
The police have already registered a criminal case in the “cash for MLA” scam on the basis of a complaint lodged by Tandur MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy. In his complaint, he alleged that the BJP leaders tried to struck a ₹100 crore deal with the four MLAs to defect from the ruling TRS party and join the BJP. (NSS)
