Hyderabad, Feb 15 (Maxim News): The caste census survey will begin once again in Telangana. The Telangana government has completed all the arrangements for the second caste census survey to begin across the state from tomorrow (Sunday). Those who did not participate in the caste census survey in the first phase will be given another chance. The survey will continue from February 16 to 28. The government has allowed registering details in three ways. It has also given the chance to call the enumerators by calling the toll-free number.
Chief Secretary Shanta Kumari will make key suggestions on the survey and announce the toll-free number. There will also be an opportunity to download forms online and provide details. There is an opportunity to go directly to the mandal Parishad office and submit the details.
Meanwhile, the government conducted the first caste census survey from November 6 to December 25 last year. The government conducted this caste census survey for the BC population census. The government also revealed the details related to it. The government explained that more than 3.54 crore people registered their details in this survey. This is recorded as 96.9 percent of the state’s population. It has been clarified that another 3.1 percent of the population did not participate in the household survey. It has been revealed that key leaders of the BRS party did not register their details in the surveys. 3.1 percent of people did not participate in this survey for various reasons.
In the wake of demands to move forward on BC reservations only after comprehensive details are received, the state government has decided to conduct a caste census survey again. As part of this, the survey will start tomorrow. The survey will be conducted for about 12 days. The government has allowed those who did not participate in the caste census survey to register their details again. (Maxim News)
