CAT Big Shock To Five IAS Officers

Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 15 (Maxim News): Five IAS officers got a big shock on the petitions filed at the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) seeking to quash the orders issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). CAT revealed that they have to follow the orders of the DoPT. In this regard, the CAT, which investigated the petitions filed by the concerned IAS officers on Tuesday, has given the key verdict.

CAT has issued orders that they should report as per the orders of the DoPT and report wherever they are. It has been clarified to report tomorrow as usual.  People are suffering due to floods in AP. Don’t you want to go to such a place and serve them? DoPT has full powers over allotment of IAS.  Do the guidelines allow for swapping despite locality?, CAT asked.

Meanwhile, IAS officers Vakati Karuna, Amrapali Kata, A. Vani Prasad, D. Ronald Rose, and G.Srijana have filed a petition in the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) seeking to cancel the order issued by the Center on the 9th of this month to go to the respective states as per the allocations made during the repartition of the state.

Meanwhile, Vakati Karuna, Amrapali, Vani Prasad, and Ronaldras, who are currently working in Telangana, have to go to AP as per the orders issued by the Centre.  Srijana, currently working in AP, has to come to Telangana.   However, in the petition, they requested to issue orders to continue in the state where they are currently working and cancel the allocation orders issued by the Center.
