Congress Questions Decision to Advance Census Schedule
Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh questioned the government’s decision to advance the census process.
Ramesh alleged that the move reflected poor planning by the government. He also questioned the timing of the decision.
He asked why the government was advancing the census despite knowing that four states will hold elections in 2027.
