Central Election Commission Team Reached Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (Maxim News): The Central Election Commission has reached Hyderabad.  A nine-member team has reached Shamshabad Airport.

Police have made heavy security at Shamshabad airport after the arrival of Central Election Commission members. The state authorities arranged a huge convoy with 20 vehicles. Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Ravindra received the Central Election Commission at Shamshabad Airport.

The Central Election Commission will visit Hyderabad for three days. A meeting with 10 recognized political parties of national and state levels will be held on October 3 from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. The list of the parties to be met by the EC team includes BJP, Congress, BSP, CPI, CPM, TMC, Nationalist Congress Party, TDP, BRS, and YSR Congress Party.  Congress and BJP will mainly complain about double votes and bogus votes.

The ECI team will participate in a voter awareness program on October 4 at 6:30 a.m. on Cable Bridge.  Later, from 9.30 am to 7.00 pm.  The Collectors, Police Commissioners, and SPS of all the districts will discuss the conduct of the elections.  Each District Election Officer will give a PowerPoint presentation.

The Central Election team will review the election arrangements in a meeting with the Chief Secretary, DGP, and other high officials on Thursday, October 5.  The Central Election Commission team will also meet with celebrities, disabled voters, and young voters, the EC team will hold a media conference in the afternoon.  (Maxim News)
