Central Team Visits Nagarjuna Sagar Dam For Safety Inspection

Hyderabad, Jan 4 (Maxim News): A team of officials from the Central Water Commission and National Dam Safety Authority visited the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam on Saturday.

The visit is part of a routine safety inspection exercise.  Routine checks to ensure the dam’s structural integrity and operations efficiency, especially with respect to the works to be taken up during the upcoming working season are common, officials said, adding that the last such inspection took place in February 2024.  (Maxim News)
