Centre Declares 6 In Telangana, 5 In AP As Red Zones
Hyderabad: Two days ahead of the second time lockdown comes to an end on May 3, the Central government announced on Friday a modified list of red, orange and green zones in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
In AP, five districts were placed in red zones. They are Kurnool, Guntur, Krishna, Nellore and Chittoor districts. East Godavari, West Godavari, Kadapa, Anantapur and Srikakulam districts are categorised as orange zones.
In Telangana, Hyderabad, Suryapet, Medchal, Vikarabad and Warangal Urban have been declared as red zones. Nizamabad, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Nirmal, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Komaram Bheem, Mahbubnagar, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Medak, Jangaon, Narayanapeta and Mancherial districts are in orange zone.
Rest of the districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are in green zone.
