Hyderabad, Sept.2 (Maxim News): Tourism and Excise Minister, V Srinivas Goud today criticised the Centre for ignoring former Prime Minister P V Narsimha Rao. It is fortunate that the centre failed to recognize PV and abstained from installing his statue in Parliament, he said.
The minister made a visit and took a look at a museum of PV native village in Bhimadevara Pally mandal of old Karim Nagar district.
On the occasion, the minister slammed the Centre for not installing a statue of PV Narsimha Rao who is known for financial reforms and national development.
He said that PV has held positions like from Patwari in village to PM of the country. He served the nation and took it to international level with better foreign policy and rapid growth in several sectors he said.
In spite of that there is no due recognition to PV which is unfortunate, he opined. Goud promised to develop Vangara village as tourism spot and develop museum as state level he said. I will submit a report to Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao in this regard he added. (Maxim News)
