Chain Snatchings | Hyderabad, Jan 17 (Maxim News) : A series of chain snatching incidents are creating a stir in the Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate.

Several incidents that have come to light recently in the Chaitanyapuri, Nagole and Hayat Nagar police station limits are worrying the locals.

Especially targeting women, the assailants are coming on two-wheelers and snatching gold chains and escaping.

When the victims complained about this incident at the police stations, the police registered a case and started an investigation.

According to the initial police investigation, the chain snatching suspects are targeting women and the elderly walking alone.

Officials say that these incidents are mostly happening on roads with less traffic in the morning and evening hours. They are said to be coming at a fast pace on two-wheelers, snatching the chain and escaping in a matter of seconds.

The police have been alerted by a series of chain snatching cases registered in Chaitanyapuri, Nagole and Hayat Nagar police stations under Malkajgiri Commissionerate.
