Chiranjeevi Deepfake Video Case Taken Seriously by Hyderabad Police
Chiranjeevi Deepfake Video | Hyderabad, Oct. 31: Megastar Chiranjeevi has responded strongly to the circulation of deepfake videos involving him on social media.
He revealed that DGP and Cyberabad Police Commissioner, Stephen Raveendra and Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Sajjanar have taken the matter very seriously and are personally monitoring the case.
Chiranjeevi expressed confidence in the strength and efficiency of the Telangana Police, stating that strict action will be taken against those responsible for creating and sharing obscene deepfake content.
The incident came to light after morphed videos featuring the actor appeared on a website and on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Chiranjeevi Deepfake Video | Police Tighten Probe into Deepfake Case
Following a complaint by Chiranjeevi, police traced the source of the fake content to an account named “DayaChowdary” on X.
The account has since been blocked, and the objectionable videos were completely removed from social media. Preliminary investigation revealed that the videos were uploaded from foreign IP addresses.

Authorities have warned that anyone found involved in producing or circulating such fake videos will face severe legal consequences.
Police are continuing to track digital evidence to identify those behind the creation and distribution of the deepfake content.
