The Congress party formally launched its civic poll blitz with a major public meeting in Miryalaguda. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is leading the party’s campaign push. He instructed District Congress Committee presidents to complete arrangements for public meetings scheduled until February 9. He also directed leaders to coordinate daily rallies and door to door canvassing in every ward. Therefore, the party has planned a tightly monitored and structured campaign.

Meanwhile, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud will oversee coordination with district leadership. His role focuses on ensuring smooth execution of meetings and outreach programmes. Congress leaders aim to maintain momentum across municipalities as the polling date approaches. The party leadership believes sustained public engagement will help consolidate support in urban areas.

At the same time, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi has finalised an intensive campaign schedule as part of the civic poll blitz. BRS working president Rama Rao has planned a series of rallies across towns for seven days. He, along with Harish Rao, is expected to personally lead rallies in selected municipalities. These efforts will focus on areas where Congress is emerging as a strong challenger. Therefore, the party plans to sharpen its attack during the final days.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has also stepped up its campaign. The BJP is concentrating on establishing dominance in northern districts. The party plans to field strong candidates in Nizamabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar, and Mahbubnagar. Meanwhile, Union ministers, MPs, and MLAs will camp in these municipalities for a week. Their presence aims to strengthen the party’s outreach and coordination at the local level.
