Tehran/Internet/Hyderabad, Jan 18 (Maxim News): Thousands of civilians are being killed in Iran, which is engulfed in civil war. The latest report has revealed that more than 16,500 people have been killed in the clashes that have been going on for the past three weeks. Moreover.. more than 3,30,000 people have been injured in these clashes. Clashes began in Iran in the last week of December. People there started protests against the deteriorating economic situation, rising prices of essential goods, and severe sanctions.
The government took drastic measures to suppress the protesters on this occasion. Thousands of people were killed through shootings and punishments. This was also confirmed by Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei on Saturday. Khamenei said that thousands of people have lost their lives in the ongoing clashes in Iran. Khamenei said that US President Trump incited these clashes and that he is a criminal. Although the number of people killed in these clashes has not been officially revealed, international media organizations say that 16,500 to 18,000 people have died and 3,30,000 to 3,60,000 have been injured. These include women and children, including pregnant women. Most of them are under the age of 30. Many of the protesters are dying from gunshots to the head. Also, 700 to 1,000 people have lost their eyesight.
More than 7,000 people have recently been treated for eye diseases at an eye hospital in Tehran. People are being seriously injured as dangerous weapons are used to control the protesters. Doctors say that they are suffering from severe injuries in parts such as the eyes, neck and chest. Many of the injured are losing their lives due to lack of adequate blood supply. Medical staff are having to donate blood to save the patients. Many countries, including the United States, are expressing concern over this carnage taking place in Iran. (Maxim News)
