Cleanliness-Greenery Program Aimed At Maintaining Sanitation And Increasing Greenery: Amrapali Kata 

Hyderabad, Aug 2 (Maxim News): GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata has called for the success of the Cleanliness-Greenness Program to be organized from the 5th to the 9th of this month.

Commissioner Amrapali held a teleconference with zonal commissioners and additional commissioners on Friday and made several suggestions on the management of the cleanliness-greenness program.

Speaking on this occasion, the Commissioner said that the Government has undertaken a cleanliness-greenness program to increase cleanliness and greenness in the state. As a part of green cleanliness, the scheduled day programs should be conducted effectively in all the wards of the city.

He said that teams should be formed with the officers of all departments to manage the clean money-green program. The teams formed for cleanliness and greening should work hard to ensure that the programs are properly implemented as per the schedule at the field level. In this program useful plants should be distributed door to door to the people and community halls should also be monitored.

In the background of the government directing one innovative program each day, it was ordered to conduct such programs on those days and submit the report before 4 pm. Commissioner Amrapali explained the schedule and details of the programs to be undertaken under the cleanliness-greenness program from August 5 to 9.

The representatives of the Residential Welfare Association at the field level of Town Level, Slum Level Federation, RCs, PO Tax, and Sanitation SSAs suggested creating awareness among the people on cleanliness and greenery. It is suggested that the officials of the concerned departments should go as a team and educate the representatives of the Residential Welfare Association and the public on the respective issues.

It is advised to monitor cleanliness and greenness programs regularly and successfully implement the program to increase cleanliness and greenness in the city with the participation of people.She asked that these five days be a commitment to take up cleanliness programs in the city vigorously and to continue the same spirit continuously.
