CLP Merger Into TRS Will Be A Dark Day: TPCC

Hyderabad, June 6 (Maxim News): TPCC working president Kusuma Kumar today termed the submission of a letter to Speaker to merge CLP into ruling TRS party by rebel Congress party MLAs as a dark day in the history of the State. He also alleged that the ruling TRS party leaders butchered democracy by keeping the State Assembly as a witness. He also alleged that CM KCR had bought the Congress MLAs like a herd of sheep in open market.

Speaking mediapersons, Kusuma Kumar asked the rebel MLAs as to how they could hold the CLP meeting without the presence of the CLP leader. He also wondered as to how the Speaker of the Assembly would receive the merger letter from the rebel Congress MLAs when the case related to the same was pending in High Court.

He made it clear that they have already urged the Speaker to disqualify all the defected MLAs of the party. He called upon the people to condemn the merger of CLP into the ruling TRS party. He said they would hold massive agitation programs and burn effigies of KCR condemning his illegal and immoral acts. He also said they have already filed cheating cases against the defected MLAs.

He also alleged that CM KCR had encouraged the CLP merger as he wanted to ensure that a Dalit leader should not be in the post of the CLP leader. He said they would go to Supreme Court on the merger of the CLP while alleging that CM wanted to ensure that there should be nobody to question his anti-people policies and acts. (Maxim News)
