Amaravati, Feb. 8 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the Devarapalli ashram students hostel incident in Polavaram district with CMO officials and other authorities.

In Rampachodavaram, Devarapalli ashram students hostel, 92 students showed vomiting, stomach pain, fever, and diarrhea symptoms.
Officials rushed them to Maredumilli and Rampachodavaram area hospitals. They informed the Chief Minister about the swift response.

Students took breakfast on Saturday morning. Then, they developed stomach pain and vomiting, so authorities shifted them to hospital for treatment.
Officials told the Chief Minister that all 92 students are now stable. The moment the incident occurred, teams visited the hostel and inspected the premises as well.
Authorities conducted primary medical checks on the remaining students in the hostel. They treated those showing diarrhea symptoms.
Officials set up a special medical camp. They also collected food samples and water samples. A joint inspection committee will probe the incident, as officials reported to the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Chandrababu spoke on the matter. He stressed continuous monitoring of the health condition of students receiving treatment in Rampachodavaram area hospitals. He asked for regular reports on students’ health anytime. He ordered the Collector to submit a full report by Monday.
The Chief Minister directed departmental action against those responsible, along with criminal action if needed. (Maxim News)
