Speaking to the media on Monday, Adluri said “loot and stash” was the guiding principle of BRS rule. He alleged that BRS leaders were making repeated accusations out of jealousy and trying to defame the Congress government.
He expressed confidence that the Indian National Congress would return to power in Telangana. At the same time, he advised KTR to refrain from making frequent allegations without evidence.
The minister challenged KTR to respond to questions raised by K. Kavitha in the past. He asked whether BRS was ready for a public debate on how many jobs were actually provided during its tenure.
Adluri alleged that unemployment issues and public dissatisfaction led to BRS losing power in the state.
He also recalled Kavitha’s earlier remarks in the Legislative Council, where she questioned BRS over its achievements and decision to expand nationally.
Adluri further criticised the previous government led by K. Chandrashekar Rao, alleging that while local farmers faced distress, funds were extended to farmers in other states like Punjab, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
The minister’s comments have triggered fresh political debate, bringing past criticisms within BRS back into focus. (Maxim News)
