Hyderabad, Jan. 26 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao directed officials concerned to increase number of Basti Dawakhanas, which are rendering a great service to the poor in the capital city to 350.
Stating that 118 Basti Dawakhans were working in the city very well and people are very happy with the services rendered by them, the Chief Minister said the number of Basti Dawakhanas should be increased substantially.
In the 150 Divisions in the city, two Basti Dawakhanas should be established in each Division, he said and asked the officials to create more Dawakhanas at the places where there was substantial population of the SCs, STs, Minorities and poor. The Chief Minister asked the officials to open the new Basti Dawakhanas within a month. (Maxim News)
