CM happy to see Mallanna Sagar works complete

Hyderabad, Aug.27 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today expressed happiness at the completion of another big project Mallanna Sagar. The Chief Minister who attended a Dalit Bandhu program in Karim Nagar district returned to Hyderabad through a helicopter.

He took an aerial view of the Mallanna Sagar project whose construction was completed.

This project is built at a capacity to impound 50 TMC waters. As the works are completed the chief minister is to take a decision to fill it up with waters from the already built Kalesharam lift irrigation project this year.

The officials have been conducting a trial run by sending water to this project since last Sunday. The government decided to fill it up with Kaleshwaram this year and the process began. KCR felt happy that the newly built structure receiving water.

The Chief Minister reportedly directed the officials to fill up the Mallanna Sagar project with Kaleshwarm waters as soon as possible. (Maxim News)
